Golden scores 12 or more points. We are a hard team to beat when Golden plays good but we a very hard team to watch when he doesn't. We are awful, and not a good basketball team when he hides.

Example
Late in the game when Bama was really pressing us he wanted someone else to bring the ball up the court.

He is still a ? Mark to me, we will never win much as long as he is playing like this.

Sorry just very disappointed in his preformance today.

I still believe we might get in with all the other loses today.
We need uk and ole miss to lose....very badly.

We do go as Golden does. Tough team to watch when he isn't in rhythm. Really fun team when he is. Still really like him. Just would like to see more consistency. Good post OP.

I usually end up wishing Golden hadn't drove as often because he turns it over.. but this time I wish he would have driven more. Golden is such a tricky player lol. This team isn't built for the 3 point shooting we did today. We need to drive in the paint and draw fouls.

Golden's hot/cold play this season underscores how crucial decent to good point-guard play is to the success of any hoops team.

When Trae struggles shooting he needs to try to get to the line IMO. Zero foul shots made by him today. Not sure if he attempted one.

Way too many 3s and not enough FTs as a team...when we lose that and tunrovers are a common theme. Usually goes hand in hand with trae as well, as PG he can control a lot of that.

Yep. I'm trying to remember our first two games vs bama this year. Did Trae sit out during the victory at home? Not saying we are better without him, just trying to remember how he played vs them earlier in the year. Same thing for the home loss to Georgia. Can't remember how Trae played in that one.

Think he played both against them

Yikes.

Here's the slate I'm curious about now...

@bama
Bama in SEC
Georgia
@ Georgia
Georgetown
Virginia
Memphis

I'm not trying to pick on Trae with this. Just wondering what he played like in those games. Those are games we lost that were very winnable. We win any 2 of those 7, we aren't a bubble team today. We'd be in. It's crazy to me how bad the whole team seems to play when he's at his worst. I think he was out with injury for 1 or 2 of those.

I may look it up later.
