I was not thrilled with the coaching yesterday but I am reminded that this schedule was and is absolutely brutal and we are playing with a hand of 2/3 in texas holdem. Butch will right the ship and his recruiting reflects his beliefs. I too am sick of seeing the weekly slaughter but I am patient. I probably would not be tolerant if I saw recruiting terrible but that is not the case. Butch said something in his post game that stuck and you don't hear a coach say everyday. I WILL turn this program around or die trying. I for one believe him.

It does indeed show that Sal Sunseri was not the cause of last years defensive struggle. Sal's Florida State defense is doing quite well this year. The lack of talent at UT is pathetic or worse.

Sunseri is only the defensive ends coach, not the defensive coordinator. Not his defense.

Just because this defense is really bad is doesn't mean that Sunseri didn't do an awful job last year as UTs D Coord.... cause he did.
