We cannot win next year with a bunch of freshmen starting

Honestly, I know the o-line will lack experience and will lack the size that we currently have, but is that necessarily a bad thing in the Butch Jones system? With his read option/wide zone block schemes, I think we might be better suited with a smaller/quicker o-line.

Food for thought.

agreed . Butch's system also favors the quick hitting passing game with short to intermediate routes.

From looking at the roster and the guys that are recruits ...we may be getting quicker ...but not smaller

I love our 2014 class, and we will certainly upgrade our talent at almost every position, but how can we win with a bunch of freshmen in the lineup?

Our lack of speed on defense is a major problem. Where is that speed coming from next year? Weight room? Freshmen? I believe we're probably 2 years away from competing with the upper teams in the SEC. Am I wrong to think like this?

We couldn't win THIS year with a bunch of seniors starting. What's your point?

Awwwww deja vu from 3 yrs ago. Let's just take it slowly as to not burn the house down when things start to go a bit sour...The Legion of the Miserable style.

The Vols are 3-4 years away from competing with the real SEC powers, but we'll get there.

Competing with the real powers we can do sooner. Beating them consistently, however, will take more time, likely towards the end of your year range you gave.

That's given if we keep recruiting the way we have.
