This felt like FL again. Similar game plan. Our opponent runs the ball and slowly charges up the field. Takes a tons of minutes off the clock.
When that happens, we can't afford to go 3 and out or NOT get any type of points. The time possession was 20/40. You can't win like that.

You can, but you have to score TDs on every possession and not shoot yourself in the foot with penalties. Possible, but not probable.

Those that said this system won't work long-term may be right. It guess it requires a superior talent advantage which isn't going to happen.

This style reminds me of Butch (without Dobbs). The quick 3 and outs are killing our defense. Dobbs and Hooker are/were vastly superior talents that masked a TON of shortcomings. I didn’t appreciate them enough while they were here.
At least we can maybe watch Dobbs continue to ball out still 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nor can you win when you turn the ball over 3 times and only score 1 time. That won't fly in the SEC. The rules give every advantage to offenses in college football because the excitement is in the scoring.
