Maybe you now start to realize exactly how bad our recruiting has been over the past few years.

Though I believe we have the boys who want to play for a top tier university, and the men who love the University of Tennessee, I do not believe we have the talent to back it up.

I believe Butch will help us accelerate our recruiting to the level that it needs to be, but it will take a few years. It is not something new and all of us in our heart of hearts know that.

Regardless, GO Vols. We believe in you, and as Vols fans will support you through the good AND the bad times.

Yep, it all started in 2006 and I remember being very, very concerned with our 2008 class. You could see it coming. At the time knowing Fulmer could only win with better talent the writing was on the wall.

Then the 2005 and 2007 classes, which looked good on paper, flamed out.

And here we are, haven't recovered.
