It was nice to not see a team lay down even when nothing was going their way

I loved that I could watch this game until the final whistle blew and be happy with the effort our team was giving. It is going to be a GREAT season.

We get two weeks to prep for UGA. Put 9 in the box and the corners on an island! UGA has weak passing game and they already have 3 receivers hurt. Special teams were better today but need improvement.

If we can upset the dogs, then they will be in bad shape on tie breakers.

Oline was a dumpster fire for 40 minutes and then started to gel some with good running yardage (could be OK had a change in strategy and substitutions but the Oline looked better nonetheless).

We are gonna be a lot better after two more weeks of practice. After all these are young inexperienced and feisty freshman we're talking about!

I think we just haven't found the QB for this offense. Worley is the answer now bc thats all we have. We need a true run/throw threat to be great.

I know they're probably redshirting Dobbs, but i would love to see a 3rd down playbook built in for this kid. He would have scored on that scramble that worley came up short on, and he would have kept this defense a bit more honest with his legs. I think Worley is obviously a better leader and passer, but Dobbs makes us more dangerous on offense, and If he can pass nearly as well as he did on the orange and white game, i dont think he would be too much of a passing liability.

One thing is obvious: our players like playing for CBJ a heck of a lot more than they did for Dooley. I think we are overachieving in some areas, at this point, and the future is bright with recruiting. We will take our lumps again, but I think you will see more competitive games down the stretch this year than last.
