We have to be realistic on what we expect from our team this year. Did anybody think we would win at Oregon or at Florida? Before anybody calls me a "negavol" or whatever make no mistake about it I BLEED ORANGE! My girlfriend can attest to that. She had to listen to me scream at the tv pretty much the whole game. These last 2 weeks(the last 6 years as well) has been very hard to be a vol fan. I'm just as pissed as anybody. I remember the "good ole days" of the late 80's and 90's when we were a football power. We got spoiled too! We have to understand that talent-wise we are in the bottom 1/3 of the sec right now. Coach Jones can only do so much with what he has to work with. He's not a miracle worker. We are weak at the most important position on the field right now(QB). The Frosh qb's are probably going to be good but you can't put them in that situation in a hostile environment against a D like UF's. I for one think Coach Jones will right the ship but its going to take time (3-4 years not months). :good!:

That's what I've been saying all along. We need to get better as the season moves on. There are some games we can win down the November stretch.

Well, so far we're par for the course. 2 wins over teams we should beat, and 2 losses to teams we were expected to lose to.

Unfortunately, it's gonna be hard to beat anybody with a pulse until we get a QB.
