A big time point guard as much as our football team needs a big time running back. We do not have anyone to get the ball to the big guys. Or they just do not want to get it inside. And to have 10 turnovers at half time against a zone. Come on man.

wes will have to be the man for a while. he's not a shooter, but his turnovers are limited, at least.

The guy who made a wager with a UK fan on Betus that Golden would be All-Sec 1st team this year after our 2nd game sure is looking stupid right about now

But Trae is the best pg that's ever put on the orange. VN told me so. Seriously, he's a good player and is just slumping. I'd take CJ in a heartbeat right now.

Are Golden and Tatum partaking of the hippie lettuce? Washpun needs to get better in a hurry. At least he is conservative with his ball handling. The Golden experiment isn't working.

Golden is doing a good job distributing, not sure if still leading SEC in assists but was at one point. He is definately in a slump scoring though, did end up with 11 tonight. Golden is not a true point, in a way is still learning and you can tell, he tries too hard sometimes.

Shots not falling will make you press, then other parts of your game suffer. Right now he is playing "poor", but I believe by end of the season he will be playing "good". Least that is what I hope.

His biggest problem now, with his shot not falling, he is now pressing and forcing passes and bad shots. He is just not playing smart basketball right now. He did play well the final 5 minutes.

While I do think there is lots of room for improvement in Golden's game, he is only a sophomore and does have a broken bone in his nose. I got to think that has some affect on your confidence.

I'm sure the nose doesn't help matters, but his problems began long before his nose was broken. He's just not a point guard.

That's true. I some times wonder if Martin would not be better to move Cam to the point and if people want to press us just let Maymon bring it up against the other teams big man. If you watch when teams pressure us now, it's almost always Tatum or Maymon that get the ball up the floor. Golden could still be on the floor as the 2 guard. The same players would be on the floor, but the burden of getting into the offense shifts from a Sophomore to a senior . I think Skylar could be used the same way since he is a junior.
