Imagine what he will do when he has the kind of talent you see right now at Florida, UCLA, North Carolina, UConn, etc. He gets those players in there and your program is going to explode. I do worry there will be a let down now at Florida and that some of these guys will go to the NBA, but UT has nothing but promise ahead.
I wouldn't worry too much about UF dropping off a whole lot...Billy D has a good thing going down there, in fact, for him, from a recruiting standpoint, he couldn't be in a better position.
recruits that normally wouldn't consider going to an SEC school because they are being courted by big time ACC and Big East schools can now look at Florida as a viable opiton to showcase thier talent. they will have big time games against TN, UK, ARK, Bama, LSU every year (not to mention a good oofc schedule). You have some high profile coaches in the league now, ripe with story lines, and recent history for a league that suggests the future is bright.
Now there may be some ripple affect for other shcools in the league, and the teams like USC and TN, can also go in to the same recruit's house as UF, UK, UNC, Duke etc...and say, we beat those guys twice....we are big time too, and you get could get us over the hump.
With the coaches we now have in this league, i really think the future of SEC bball is extremely bright.
