If you want to post your email address I can forward all the emails I'm getting from Fulmer. They will be encrypted with 128-bit PGP encryption and I'll send the key in a separate email for security measures. It's only for people I trust though, so for those who just joined VolNation this year, don't even ask. I can't help you.

I understand the added security measures and can decrypt anything. I've seen Chloe O'Brian do it enough times.

Can one or the other (fergy or dobbs) do any worse than worley/peterman. Peterman earned the scout team qb today and worley has yet to rise to the lvl required in the sec. Burning a red shirt may not be the "wins" answer this year. However, the experience gained by that freshman qb will make a lot of difference next year. Florida State, in Bowden's first year, was much the same. He was losing badly, went with a freshman qb and still lost. The next year, his sophomore qb lead them to an 11-2 season.

When FSU has Oregon, Florida, Georgia, S Carolina, and Bama in the middle of their schedule, come talk to me.

Who cares what you want? We don't get paid 3.5 million a year to make the decisions to put in freshman quarterbacks. Get over it.

The second string quarterback didn't get it done so let's give the fourth string guy a shot. Makes sense.

A Poobah at best, should have math and reading skills. If UT coaches are still running the team and making the decisions, then Dobbs might actually be the second or third string QB. The mighty "or" coming from the listed depth chart for this week. It don't count up to fourth string nowhere. Posters on here going all gooey about the other frosh, and pulling strange ideas out of their flatulence generator, by miraculously knowing somehow (mind meld with Butch or something), where any of the freshman stand at this point is amazing.

I'm pretty sure reports from practice indicate that Dobbs was running 4th before Peterman's injury. Then you have the fact that Ferguson went to Gainesville as 3rd string and Dobbs didn't make the trip.

So if you add up all the facts taken from reading about the team then Dobbs would be #3 on the current list

Ferguson or Dobbs needs to play IMO. Worley is just flat out ****ing terrible. No arm, no mobility, and no accuracy.

Worley has the ability , I bet none of the naysayers ever wore cleats

Yeah you're right, makes all the sense in the world.... if you critique the performance of Justin or any other player you've never actually put a pair of cleats on before... and you've certainly never played the game of football ... it's only logical.

Worley would not start at any other SEC school other than Kentucky. The kid is a Div II QB at best.

Sorry, can't buy your argument. No UT coaches have reported so much as a single word, so nothing else counts until they actually do. Ferguson goes to Florida and Dobbs to Bama. It's called taking turns.

no we don't but he couldn't have done much worse

Yes... he could. Remember, NEITHER of the freshman even passed Peterman on the depth chart... let that sink in before agreeing with a sentiment like the one expressed by the OP.

Starting a less experienced QB will only magnify the problems and inexperience at WR.

The last sentence is not true.

As to the point, if Worley WAS starting for a team with experienced talent at WR.... he would be in the top 5 of the conference.

Some of the problems are him. Many are because of the WR's. All involved are progressing. They're working their tails off.... while fools throw stones on message boards.

Go look at Dobbs offer list and then decide if you still want him starting. ..

I'm just sayin

The best solution is for Worley and the receivers to continue to improve and for the passing game to come together. Worley then starts and plays well next year giving UT a) credibility and time to get a top shelf QB recruit and b) for one or both of the Fr to develop.

Frankly, unless one of the freshmen is better than Worley by a similar margin as Bray was better than Simms from a physical standpoint... and they don't appear to be... then it likely helps neither this team nor those players for them to get in this year.

Not all experience is good experience. Some experience, like Peterman's ill-fated start at UF, can be destructive.

Agreed. Many fans do not understand the process of "grooming" players carefully and methodically. There is a process to it and involves careful evaluation by experienced people like coaches who see their progress daily. Fans do not have the luxury of seeing player development Trust the coaches.

I mean Worley is a Red Shirt Junior he should be a lot better than he is. We need to plug another player and get ready for the future. Worley just doesn't have it. He needs to be helping the coaches call in plays because he doesn't have the physical tools to play at a SEC level.

so they took the 4th string QB to Gainesville instead of the 3rd string?

also do you have a link to the UT travel roster for bama? Would be interested in seeing that
