We get into a high scoring game. Everyone keeps saying "we have to score 30". If the scoring gets that high the odds are against us. We are a grind it out offense. Our rushing attack and controlling the clock will be our best friend today. Also mizzou relies heavily on the run and both of their top rushers are suffering from lingering injuries. I do not see this game getting that high and if it does the odds are against us. Also not too mention we have a freshman QB starting on the road. Living in MO I hate mizzou and want nothing more than to beat them today. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Vols 21 Mizzou 20 (mizzou has had kicker problems the past two years and we win cuz of missed PAT)

All we needed vs. Georgia and South Carolina in regulation were 24 and 23. The defense needs to play very well for us to win IMO. Then again, Dobbs is not Worley.

Honestly, a big part of the 'grind it out' style of our offense has been due to our passing game being inefficient, at best. If Dobbs can manage to be accurate and hit open receivers, and let them make plays with the ball, we may find a little more explosiveness with our offense tonight.

It sounds logical, and may be hoping for too much, but sometimes you just got to believe.

I also have a feeling the rest of the team will rally around he freshman QB, and we may see an inspired performance.

Go Vols!!!

Well heck fire, tell them boys to run the clock down then. Zig Zag down the field.

if we don't stop the run

Mauk doesn't seem very capable of creating a high score on passing alone (Franklin could; but luckily we don't have to play him)
