That would only be an upset if Iowa State wins. The Cyclones are awful.

While the logical choice (and the spread) favors Bradley, I'm going with the Cyclones tomorrow night. Bradley looked terrible in their opener against Illinois-Chicago.

Hat, how in the hell do you know enough to know about Sam Houston. It floors me how much you know about college B ball. There is not a team I could not quiz you about that you could not tell me fact about the team.

Sam Houston State has been good for a few years. Bob Marlin is a quality coach. They beat Texas Tech in Coach Knight's first year there.

I'm not delusional. My Cats are not going to upset UNC. But they could give them a tough ballgame. Our guys aren't the most athletic, but they're scrappy.

What concerns me most isn't UNC's inside game - they're going to dominate the boards regardless of what we do. What concerns me is Marcus Ginyard. He's a quick, strong defensive player who will hound Curry all night. If Curry can't rip a few threes early, it could get ugly.

Last year was an 88-52 rout. I hope for better tonight.

TennNC - Davidson is leading Duke at the 16 minute mark in the 2nd half. Granted, there's a long way to go, but they are hanging with them this year.

The Tarheels are in a dogfight with Davidson right now. With 10:46 remaining in the second half, the Wildcats are currently leading, 47-46.

UNC answers back.....50-49 ... this is a great game. I'm glad ours is at half time right now so I can actually follow this game.

Cats make their shots to tie it back up ... but a strong move to the basket by UNC gives them the lead 54-52 with a foul shot coming...just under 8 minutes.
