Georgia- OK State - This thing could be an early upset, but my gut tells me that after dodging a bullet early last year Richt wont let that happen again.

Ole Miss- Memphis- Who knows how this thing will turn out. If anyone tells you they know how the Rebels will look in this game they are lying!

Cal- Tennessee- I really think that the same thing that won it for us last year is going to win it for us this year, speed on defense. Look for the score to be a little less one sided, but for a tennessee repeat. :peace2:

Kansas State and Auburn will be a good game.

Memphis/Ole Miss is usually an exciting game every year.

I'll be watching both.

My initial reaction to auburn kstate was that it could be a good game, but after some more thought it is a long shot.

I wouldn't call it a long shot

Kansas State is better than the Georgia Tech team that won their opener @ Auburn in 2005

Yeah, when Auburn doesn't get their usual cupcake opener, they can start slow. See: Getting smacked by USC in '02 and '03, and losing to GaTech in '05.

I think that loss to GT was mostly due to Brandon Cox. He didn't play very well in his first few starts. If they'd played later in the season I think Auburn would have squashed them.

Well, let's see... They opened with Louisiana-Monroe in '04, and spanked a sub-.500 Wazzu team in '06.

Everything considered... I'm taking Auburn in this one, 27-17.
