Week 2 thoughts

Colts are in serious trouble. No depth in trenches.

Is Anthony Gonzalez really this good? Impressive today.

Brad Childress is a terrible coach.

Baby TO is for real. Great performance.

Same for Jay Cutler. Broncos could be scary good later on in the season and they are pretty damn good now.

Bills showed they could win today w/o a great outing from Lynch. Edwards 20/25 for 239 against a physical Jax team. They are still my surprise team for this year.

The NO that comes before Saints still stands for NO defense.

Damn, Darren Sproles just busted loose for a 66 yard TD run. He also had a 100 yard kick return for 6. Second fastest player in NFL?

Great outing for Jamarcus out in Oakland. 6 of 17 for 55 yards. They won though because of Run DMC's coming out party... well that and KC being terrible and stuff.

Is Larry Johnson a great running back playing behind a putrid OL or was he an average running back running be hind a GREAT OL. I don't know but he looked bad.

Rogers to Jennings has had a great start. I greatly underrated Rogers going into this year.

Kurt Warner = Fantasy steal of the year.

Shanahan has ice in his veins and it pays off huge. Jay Cutler is a Big Time QB. Cutler to Royal for 6 and then a very similar play to Royal again for the 2 point convo.

Here's my thoughts on the day.

1.Shanahan showed some balls on that last possession. Marshall is starting to turn into an All-Pro receiver as long as he can stay out of trouble off the field.
2.Thank goodness I passed on getting tickets for a Bengals game later in the season.
3.The Jags may be the disappointment of the year. If they want to be considered true Super Bowl contenders they win these first 2 games.
4.I'm willing to say that the Packer fans won't be booing Rogers anytime soon. Brett who?
5.Trent Edwards may be last seasons Derek Anderson.
6.Two tough losses for the Chargers let the "Fire Norv Turner" rants start.
7.The NFC West is an absolute joke.
8.I would take Lane Kiffin on my team any day if the Raiders don't want him.
9.For all of those doubting the Pats'; until proven otherwise, the AFC still runs through Foxboro.
10.With that said, Dallas looks real good. Hopefully the additions of Tank Johnson(entire season) and Pacman Jones can translate into a Super Bowl Win. With that said, they need to find a way to win a playoff game first.

My thoughts today were that this was a great week of exciting games including Colts/Vikings, Broncos/Chargers, Bills/Jags, Skins/Saints and a couple more I can't think of right now.

Also, the AFC is setting up well for home field advantage for my Steelers!

The Chargers got absolutely hosed twice today. Why even have replay? BS man.

first play, the challenge monitor on the field wasn't working. second play, the dumbass official had blown the play dead. so when the whistle blows it's dead and the Chargers had yet recovered it. so the 2nd play wasn't really replay's fault, but the official blew it

1. Kerry Collins proved he's still got it and should be the starting QB and have the "C" on his jersey.
2. It's looking like Chris Johnson could have been a flat out steal at 24 in the draft
3. Titans defense has played better than any defense so far this season
4. Cortland Finnigan is THE MAN
5. Titans just might be the best team in the AFC

Pats will make the playoffs, I doubt the road to the Super Bowl will be going through Foxboro though.

Rookie running backs making noise... Him, Forte, Mcfadden, and Mendenhall will before the year's done.

Browns are a letdown so far, but they have played two of the toughest teams in the league.

Brandon Marshall... just stop it. Especially when i start randy moss over you.

Cutler is for real, Vince Young just plain isn't.

The ref had already called it an incomplete pass and blown the play dead. Rule is simply you cant challenge an incomplete pass.

He's still making noise, especially compared to the Bears 2.1 yards per carry last year, worst in the league.

Nah - but can make a case for a top 3 team easily. Collins did pretty well - I'm interested to see his numbers when he's not playing in 60 mph wind though.

Steelers look to be the best right now in the AFC imo and the Colts will be there soon.
