Week 5 Rankings

No votes in either poll. I thought the bounce-backs against Xavier and Wake might earn us a break-even, but hey, we were 42 last week, so I guess it's kind of neither here nor there.

We need to knock off Witchy St. and win some conf. games to get any recognition I guess, feeling pretty good going forward, a lot better than I did on Thanksgiving night.

A win over Witchy could get us ranked.
The game isn't until the 14th and there are several 1 or 2 loss teams ranked that could have more losses by then.

Makes you wonder Xavier has an rpi of 138 at 5-3 and UTEP Has an rpi of 51 at 2-4, go figure?

I feel a lot better about this team than I did after the UTEP fiasco. I regret that I didn't get to watch the Xavier (2) or WF games. Hopefully, we got the offense figured out. I believe that as Darius improves the team will function much better.

I would like to see us climb back in but we all know it means nothing really at this point but maybe a boost of confidence. Win the games in front of you and the rest will take care of itself.

They are bad. If Paige isn't on that team is really bad. And Roy Williams wishes he had CCM's intensity on the sideline. Their were a couple of times the camera man panned on him and I thought he was asleep.

Well, UNC did beat the number 1 team in the nation last night.

Indeed they did. But I also heard Izzo use his team, soft, and the most disappointed he remembers being after a game in back to back sentences.
