7th is an absolute joke. Kind of what I figured though. Once again no respect for the Vol's.

I mean seriously we only move up 4 places, after curb stomping the number 3 team in america, in their gym?. Uconn went from unranked to the top 10 after 2 victiories over ranked teams.

Disappointed, but not surprised. There is a case to be made that at this point in time a #1 ranking is warranted.

This is good, imo. For one thing, there's about 180 years left to play in this season, and you gotta figure this serves as better motivation for the team than showing up at #3 or something. Much less chance for complacency. But if the polls are everything to you, consider that we've got a very handleable December and beyond coming up, while some teams ahead of us are gonna lose. We got all the time in the world.

very true statement there. just keep winning. take it one game at a time then you have no choice but to move up. and oakland is on the clock. our next victim

I nailed it in the thread here asking where we would be ranked. I said 7th although we deserve Top 5. Really excited about this teams potential :lolabove: GO VOLS !

It was in Pittsburgh, but not Pitt's on campus gym.

I think we'll see ourselves slowly climb through the rankings. Up until the Memphis game, our schedule is very favorable. As long as we win those, we should be a top 5 team going into the game against Memphis. Heck, even if we slip once, we could still be in the top 10.

Should be in top 5 for sure, but at least we're actually ahead of Pitt even though some idiots put Pitt ahead of us.
