From what I hear, I really need to get to Oxford one of these years for a game. Sounded like it was as advertised, but we hosted a charity golf tournament here in town so, we had to huddle around the tv instead.

Offense: 6 turnovers are not going to get you many wins in the SEC and this was the first time JFF looked like a fish. Now that we got a bad one outta the way, I hope he learns from it and moves forward. C- Mike is losing favor with me as he is getting outperformed by Malena on a consistent basis. He also coughs up the rock a bit.

Defense: A rough 3 quarters led up to a great 4th. Very glad they made plays when they needed to the most including slamming the door shut on Ole Miss's run game late. Hurd Jr. made an exceptional play to seal it and that was great to see.

Special teams: Gotta tighten this up before heading to Shreveport. Kicking, return game, coverage, ect. Simply cannot allow the issues to progress headed into the next few games. Harris has got to be smart in the future.

Overall: Road wins are always great regardless of how ugly it was. Down 10 with 6 minutes left in an SEC game is tough for anyone. Added to the fact that you suffer from 6 turnovers, and more times than not, you're gonna lose. They didn't. Period.

LaTech next.

Gig em.

You guys are doing very well so far this year. I must confess that Mizzu is doing worse than I expected.
You will destroy LaTech but then its LSU and although they are not a NC contender this year they are still loaded with talent and have a very tough defense. I think you can win every game left on your schedule except for Alabama.

Friend of mine who went (Ole Miss fan) said all the A&M fans he ran into loved Oxford and had a great time and were really friendly. Looking forward to making a trip to College Station soon.

You guys got a gem in Sumlin. I was hesitate about him at first, but I like him a lot now. I see you guys becoming what Arkansas was the past couple of years.

You definitely need to go to Oxford. It's a trip unique to anywhere else you will ever visit. I plan to go every time the Vols play there, which is very seldom.
