Had plenty of racing heart etc during COVID, but luckily my heart has been the one constant that has done well. I used to do alot of cardio back when, probably didn't hurt me. I was having some other issues with circulation post covid especially when I had to sit around on oxygen for so long, and just to rule it out they had me to stress test etc... but heart passed with flying colors. In fact it was my heart being in good shape that probably saved my life as during COVID hospitalization resting heart rate was probably 150-160....as it desperately tried to keep up with lungs not working. A lot of people who died from covid died because their hearts could just not keep up, or if they had ANY heart weaknesses they just gave out. It was like having to run for 2-3 weeks straight and unable to stop and rest. Still if someone had ANY heart issues before if you had COVID and had the Cytokine storm event, your heart was put through a ringer when your oxygen dropped. Would deffinately advise you to see a cardiologist if you have any issues just to rule it out. My issues had more to do with CVI in the legs. A Diosmin Suppliment pretty much fixed that without any need for surgery. (get a second opinion before you get a vein bypass), diosmin works wonders, without a knife) The circulatory centers use vein bypasses as their bread and butter and won't mention it. Should also mention I never got the vax, and therefore, no myocarditus.
I had Covid 2 times. Never had any symptoms other than losing my taste and smell. Was out of work for 2 weeks but only because I had to be. Felt fine. Felt like working. Since I’ve just had random palpitations. They come and go. Some times I’ll have them for a week and then they’re gone for 2. Palpitations are typically normal from what I read. In fact, most people have multiple per day and just don’t feel them. I can definitely feel mine and I hate the way they feel.Had plenty of racing heart etc during COVID, but luckily my heart has been the one constant that has done well. Wow. Mine isn’t that bad. My wife has also had some issues. We are very young. I’m 27 and my wife is 25. She went to a cardiologist and they told her that unless it’s happening over 10,000 times a day, it’s harmless. PVCs and PACs. My wife has very bad spells. She almost passed out as well from it.Not myself, but a friend of mine has a teen daughter that caught it. Ever since she recovered she has been having an issue where something is wrong with her heart/ circulation and if she exerts herself/ works out or anything she'll randomly just faint/collapse. This went on for over a year after. My understanding is it's been getting less and less frequent with time, but still happens.
Wow, had 4 bypasses in Feb, 19. Covid in Sept, 22. Some things don't taste the same or I've just lost my taste (no longer like some things). I wonder if it's related more to age than covid?Had a bout with Covid-19 in August of 2021, right after triple bypass in July. Lost senses of taste & smell for a couple of weeks (pure misery), but I managed to ride it our & 2 years later I'm fine...except that things don't taste nor smell the same as before.
