As disappointed as I am tonight, I finally feel like -- for the first time in years -- I saw a real Tennessee football team play today. I couldn't be more proud. Things are finally looking up. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Coach Jones and the entire team.

Same here. That's the first time I felt like I watched a true Tennessee game in a long time.

Well disciplined and so much fun to watch today. Hurt losing after such a valiant effort, but I think this surely helped their confidence level. Sure helped ours. They are growing up. Post game interviews showed great maturity among them. No blame, just left it all on the field. Looking forward and not back.:peace2:

The boys in grey made me feel better about picking the Vols to win, but I always do no matter who the opponent is or how big an underdog the Vols are; supporting the team is more important to me than winning a bet or having a perfect pick sheet. It won't be long now until UT does pull that big upset. I hope we'll still be wearing grey when SCAR comes to town on the 19th.

Prior to today, just looking at the stats and the scoreboard, I had not yet seen any improvement in UT over last year. Today was the first game I actually got to see on TV (I spent most of September in Australia). And the difference between this team, on this day, and the Vols of the past 3 years was night and day. Today the Vols had energy, took advantage of the breaks, and never ever quit. Even after the fumble in OT, the D played hard and forced a long field goal. If UT can perform at this level every week, it bodes very well not just for this season but the ones to come.

Worley played a pretty good game out there. He's starting to get his feet under him like I expected that he would. That UF game showed he's got good ability and mindset when he's dialed in. USA showed he can brain fart. Tonight he played excellent ball security offense and made a lot of good throws. Not perfect by any stretch, but good enough to almost win against #6 with our talent!

The more reps and situations that he gets in, I believe he'll get better and better. Some don't latch on immediately. Good coaches know what they are looking at and have the patience to let it come to fruition. I remember UGA fans trashing Murray as a FR. Heck a lot of them wanted him benched after the loss to Clemson! Murray is a freaking Heisman candidate and he made some really bad decisions tonight as a 4 year starter. Worleys #s were almost identical to Murray. Who woulda thunk it.

Really proud of the fight till the end. UGA looked stunned a few times on TV. Richt looked literlally sick on one shot. Loving that Butches "process" appears to be encroaching week by week.

Fun to watch tonight!

The fans fed off the players and the players fell off of the fans. It was a perfect day for Vol ball except for the score. Great afternoon...almost.
