My gamecock board was on a free invision board until we got the domain. Then we went with phpbb because it was free and we had experimented with it before.
I was a member on ncaabbs for a long while and they were invision up until 6 months ago. They are on phpbb and it still throws me. I like the assistant and the control panel on invision, beyond that.. the vbulletin has cool toys in it as well.
