Well, Bush is coming on.

Well, duh. I mean, what all do you think he is gonna address about that?
I would assume that he's going to implore the nation to get on their congressional reps to get over the grandstanding and earmarking so that we can come to a resolution.

Is that what you said after 9/11 too? That worked out really well.

our ultra rapid response did wonders for us.

I know that your logic train is about 4 centimeters long, but how would you link such separate issues and try to make a point. I'll help you out: asking for speed need not be a prmanent position. Yo can actually change on issues.

For the record, I was all for speed in destroying support for Al Qaeda. I wasn't for speed in invading Iraq. The speed in Afghan land would have helped.

I don't get why you always have to use personal attacks to respond to people. It makes you seem like an arrogant and immature person.

I am referring to using national fear to pass not ill thought out legislation (because I am sure that someone thought it out very carefully, just not someone with taxpayer interests in mind), but legislation that does a disservice to everyday Americans. That is Bush's MO. Declaring "war" against terrorism. Invading Iraq. No bid Haliburton contracts. And for the record, once you pay 700 billion dollars for worthless stocks with no accountability for recouping the money, you cannot change on the issues and ask for your money back. :banghead2:

your analysis of the financial situation and prosal says to me that you have no idea what's going on, which isn't a surprise.

Your petending that your question wasn't a personal attack is complete idiocy. I responded in kind. Yes I am arrogant and immature. Better than self-conscious, mature and slow.
