at the risk of opening up a meaningless debate about coaching at UT, one thing i couldn't get out of my head watching that game Saturday night was that they looked like a well coached team.
no real big mistakes, no time outs, no issues getting the plays in, no false starts, they took care of the ball, mostly, and they executed.
legs were driving after receptions, legs kept driving after first hit on run plays, defense didn't mis gaps...it was refreshing.
i just couldn't help but notice that they looked like a disciplined team.
don't get me wrong, i'm not ready to bow down to the exalted one or anything, but you can't dismiss the effort either.
1st game impression was very positive, and hope it continues. i can deal with losing games when i see play like that, effort like that. If we get beat and play that way, you can only look to the other team as being just better than us.
So, phil and company....:clapping: keep it up.
