I don't really have anything to say, but I'm just going to go ahead and claim the obligatory gangnam style name-drop for this thread

I, also, spent time in Korea and one of my proudest moments while over there was refuting the indoctrination of Tim Tebow. Evangelicalism is rampant over there, and thus, Tebow's success with the Bronco's was a huge story in a culture that prides itself on being close with America.

All my students were quickly made aware of my opinion on why Tebow and Florida were the devil.

One of my middle school students, Hyeung-Sun, fell in love with Eric Berry because of all the posters I plastered within my classroom, and I beamed when he took 14 as his baseball number.

I work with and for Koreans down in Alabama. There are enough Vols here that we are steering several to be Vol fans. They don't care much for people that aren't humble with their success AKA Bams. Also let's not forget the Japanese...I worked for Denso for a long time and with all of the Maryville and Jackson Vols going to Japan, a guy nicknamed Howard has his entire bar draped in UT memorabilia in Kariya City. You would think you're on the strip in his place.

On a related note, I've got some friends here from Isahaya, a city outside of Nagasaki.

One of them is a bit older, 33, and when he was a kid (I think he said 12 or 13), he went to Isahaya's sister city-Athens, TN. He's fluent in English and the other day when I had on my UT hoodie at school he started singing Rocky Top. It was great.

I was stationed at Camp Stanley which is just outside of Uijeongbu back in 98. Anyway I was catching the train from there back to the Dragon Hill Lodge (I was heading home in a few days) in Yongsan and I ran into a Korean Jehovah Witness on the train.

The guy came up to me and started talking to me in english (not very good english, but it was a lot better than my korean) and told me that he was a Jehovah Witness and I was like you've got to be kidding me. Probably one of the last things you would ever expect to find in Korea is a Jehovah Witness. Well it was late afternoon and if you've ever been to South Korea then you know how crowded the trains can get in the morning and afternoons (it's make your buddy smile time). I was trapped on that train with him for almost 30 minutes and I thought my ears were going to start bleeding before he finally got off.

My master plan is working.

Next...the first international UT Alumni Club. For real. They will work with me in the spring to get things set up. It is even more exciting to think the football product might be better next fall.

Go vols!
