Well, UF has another tune up game with La Tech...but yes the Gators and every college football fan I know is looking forward to this showdown. Hopefully both teams bring their A game...it will be the typical war. :devilsmoke:

I would talk a little smack, but I don't have the heart for it after that UAB game....

I didn't get to watch the Gators' game. All the guys at church said they were amazingly good. I hope they were just ragging me.

They LOVE to do that.

Gators were pretty good....but it could have never lived up to the hype the media and fans have made the Urban Meyer era now.

Leak did set a school record with 17 cons. passes and had some nice stats...but it's obvious you will not see the full package til Portis takes over at QB.

Gator D impressed me more than the O though surprisingly.

Chad Jackson is a non-factor when you throw in Jason Allen

One on One Allen would shut down any receiver in the country

All he's saying is that Portis is the prototypical QB for the Urban Meyer system. Leak is obviously good throwing the ball, but is not really an option QB.
