After a 5-7 season and a coaching change, we get a 23rd ranked recruiting class of 18 recruits. Alot of 4 stars who can only get better and some nice last minute snatches from UF and Bama, but no five stars and we lost some and some more to a few rivals

Main disappointment is we didnt really get any or look to improve the areas we were bad in last year...those being on the offense in QB, RB, and WR....Kiffin's idea seems to be it was the staff that made players like crompton play poor, not crompton....

Anyways, the defense is looking good still which is nice, and considering how we did last year, some of these guys are nice prizes. There's hope ahead as we were able to steal two recruits from UF that we never would have been able to in the last few years, and hopefully they and alot of other people in this class will pan out.

Looks to be a better year than last, but I wouldn't count on any kind of spectacular, but we will still be better. Still a pretty decent class even if the last 2 hours of it were a bit disappointing.

Time to focus back on bball, summitt's 1000, and the long wait to football season starts again.

we are able to land Bryce Brown now that all the dust has settled?

Will you be somewhat happy with this class?

I personally feel that today was pretty good. Sure I wanted more studs especially DT and OL, but it wasnt in the cards.

No, we need big WR's and only got 1. Missing out on Brown, Jeffery and Kelly is going to hurt us.

From Bryce Brown's article on Rivals from today:

"According to Butler, reports of the top-ranked tailback entertaining the idea of playing professionally in Canada for two seasons while waiting to become eligible for the NFL draft hold no weight. For Brown, the choice will be come down to Miami, Oregon, K-State, USC, Tennessee or Auburn."

Obviously it's probably a long shot, but hey, we're still in it.

I am so ready for signing day to be finished. I wish that there was a good way to measure how winning the signing day championships correlate to winning the BCS championship.

Anyone think that Matt Stafford is going to be a good pro QB? Sports radio here in KC keeps talking about the possibility of him falling to the Chiefs at #3.
