I looked, but don't see it anywhere so sorry if this is already out there. I guess January 11(first day of spring semester) is the first day Stokes can be eligible to play. Is this also the first day he can practice, or can he begin attending practices at an earlier date?

I believe he can start practicing asap...may be wrong

The sooner the better IMO. We need him to gel with the team and learn the plays. Hopefully he's in game shape, we will see.

No reason why he can't practice ASAP. See Enes Kanter.

He will get 10 days from his first practice to get past the clearinghouse. If there is an issue he would be pulled out after 10 days.

That's my understanding of the NCAA rules.

That would be awesome. Having him on the floor for games will be great, but hopefully he will help elevate some of the post guys games by having more competition in practice right away.

I just got an Email from UTAD about a UT vs MSU Basketball Viewing Party on Jan12th here in ATL. I am assuming its meant to coincide with Stokes 1st start

I apologize in adavance for my ignoranece on this situation but I have a couple of questions for you guys.

1) Do any of you recall a kid coming from HS, enrolling for the Spring semester and playing? I can't.

2) Is this guy that good to contribute as an SEC player? I don't know anything about him.

Thanks.

Yes to both of your questions. Stokes is basically Tobias Harris 2.0, so yeah, he's an SEC player.
