Here ya go. Coaches compare him to Will Overstreet. I believe he's taller than Will at 6'4", he's gained 15 pounds since last summer, now up to 260. He has the ability to add about 25 more without being heavy. Great feet and quickness and deceptive speed 4.9/40. In HS, Wes has played mostly DE and TE.
Wes is a work horse, very quiet off the field, but meaner than hades on the field. My guess is that he will see limited playing time his sophomore year and play considerably his junior year and eventually be 1st or second string all SEC his senior year.
This is a great kid who has been a Vol fan all his life. His parents are from Lawrence County (TN), but have lived in Athens, AL for the past 15-20 years. Pop is excited about getting free tickets for the next 4-5 years. This is a solid catch IMO, but I'm a little biased.
