Who ya got in the battle of the 2 most overrated teams in college football... winner could ridiculously reach the NC Game. I think West Vagina wins with White and Slaton in this Big Least Battle.

With Bush out, I think it is an uphill battle for Louisville.

The team who can get defensive stops or turnovers will win this one. Both offensives are superb. A stop or turnover will be magnified in this one.

Louisville's defense has held up much better than I ever anticipated. Brohm has not been in any tight spots this year. I think the Card's d will fold before the Mountaineer's d.

I look for Louisville to win. I think WVU has a lot talent(speed) but I look for Louisville to match that speed in some places. Miami has speed and Louisville didn't seem overmatched. Say what you will about Miami this year but they still have speed to burn. In a close one: UL 35 WVU 31.

Be honest now, this will be the first Big East league game that any of you will have watched this year, isn't it?

I've seen the West Virginia-Syracuse, Louisville-Miami, West Virginia-Connecticut, and Pittsburgh-Rutgers games.

Louisville-Miami was one of the games I intently watched, but there were a ton of other huge matchups that day. Oregon-Oklahoma, LSU-Auburn, Michigan-Notre Dame and USC-Nebraska.

I watched West Virginia vs. Syracuse a few weeks ago, it was the best early game on and I wanted a good look at the Slaton/White machine.

West Virginia vs. UConn was the only friday night game a couple weeks ago.

And I had a legit interest in watching Pittsburgh vs. Rutgers.

So, it's half and half. Half because the unusual times and half a legit interest in watching. I went almost whistle to gun on all those games, though.

Louisville in a close one, no more than 1 score.

And yes, tids, some of us actually search out good Big East games. :)

I believe I opted for LSU/Auburn during the Miami/Louisville game. Don't think Syracuse/QVU was on here or I didn't find it. WVU/UConn put me to sleep halfway through the first quarter. I was watching something else or wasn't home for Rutgers/Pitt, meant to watch that one or at least catch part of it but didn't manage.

With Bush out, I think it is an uphill battle for Louisville.

Bush has been out all season and the run game hasnt slowed down much at all. Smith and Stripling have done a great job of filling in for Bush.

My pick is still for WV though.

I'd like the ground to open and swallow both teams whole.

WVU. I think that if they run the table I would like to see them play one of the "big boys". With the talent they have on offense it would be fun to watch them run up and down on a team like OSU or Texas.

Maybe neither one is NC calibre, but you gotta admit they'e both damn good. Therefore, I've been looking forward to this one for a few weeks now. On paper it looks like an offensive war. I think UWV in a high scoring game.

Am going to watch this one tonight. But only becuase it means chicken wings and beer at a local establishment with some friends. Other then that, this game would be on the back burner. :toast:

Kidding aside (Not about the wings and beer). Interested in seeing how well their defenses play.
