WVU but i think this might get merged to the one in the sports forum. Just a heads up if you see it gone.

I go with the 'Ville only because IMO they have a better chance of taking a loss by playing at Rutgers and at Pitt, while WV gets utgers at home. I'd like to see L'ville win a close one and drop a game or two to Pitt/Rutgers. Then see WV beat Rutgers.

The only teams I do not believe WVU could beat, in the SEC, are Auburn, LSU, and Florida.
LSU and UF are two for sure that WVU would lose. Auburn beat UF so by that logic I got to give the edge to Auburn. My only other ? is the Hogs. I just am not sold on them yet. I would like to trade Miss. St. or KY for WVU to see how things would shake out.

i accidentally put this in the wrong thread, but here goes

who would wvu beat in the SEC? right now i'd take them over:
Vandy
Miss St
Ole Miss
UK
UGA
USC
Bama
Arkansas
UT would have to fight for their life. no way do we win at their place.
And they would at least compete with everyone else. Their speed on D is scary and their offensive weapons are possibly even scarier. I predict after tonight, Slayton becomes a lock to get an invite to NY in December.

I'd want WVU to win if I was counting on us winning this weekend, which I am....Because if Louisville wins, it won't matter because WVU is farther ahead of us than the 'Ville is.....Louisville could actually drop below us if they lose and UT wins so that's what I'm hopin for tonight

I think we would manage to stop them a few times with our defense. I don't think their defense would be able to stop us. I'd pick UT to win a very high scoring game.

Tonight, I'm picking WVU to win. The Mountaineers won last year, and I think they are better this year. In contrast, I think Louisville was better last year.

Now the analysts are pushing Louisville for #3 in the BCS. Next week when Louisville loses to Rutgers, they'll be pushing Rutgers for the BCS championship game.

They said we should get over the fact that the Big Easy conference sucks, and rank them ahead of Florida because they're undefeated.

I agree . . . Herbstreit has lost his mind if he can watch that game and say that Louisville should be the #3 team in the country. I think it was pretty apparent from tonight that neither team has the defense to compete for a national title.

What's going to be more interesting IMO is to see how far West Virginia drops in the polls.

I think it was the mystique of Papa John's Stadium that won this game for Louisville.

At least out of the top ten, depending on what else happens this weekend.

Would you say it was the black out in the stands or the black out of most of the lights that was the deciding factor?

I wonder if they ever have "Dress like your favorite topping" Night at Louisville?
