Borrow my family! Father and uncle were career Army, father-in-law volunteered for the LA ACLU for 30+ years, cousin is a retired Honolulu detective, younger daughter clerked for a criminal defense attorney. Both attorneys blanched and excused me.

I’ll never get a chance to serve on a jury.

Is your daughter under 12 ? Having a kid under 12 is acceptable excuse in Illinois or just say you having hearing trouble.
