One of the better first episodes in a long time, and the best part is it sets up a story that go go an insane number of places. Definitely has the potential to be the best show on TV, but that's going to depend entirely on how the plot goes from here.

in the original movie the man in black was the crazy robot..but in this show it seems he is human as shown when the hosts can't kill him...but then he scalps the guy and has a map..so I'm thinking he is still the crazy robot but has somehow managed to circumvent a bunch of programming rules and is on his way to find the operations center..

Interesting twist to have the man in black be a human as the antagonist (or one of them). The book and original movie had the man in black as the gunslinger that was a "host".
