There was a ton of attitude last night. BJ has this team fired up and playing smart. I'm definitely excited about the program's direction and hoping for a huge season.

Agreed. Bobby Denton, rest his soul, always seemed more excited about a good play for the visiting team. I didn't hear that at all last night.

Then again, there weren't too many good plays for USU...

Like he said in the pre-game, "We came out, ran through the T and took a right, so that was victory #1 of the evening".

Seriously, first game of the season, you really have no idea what you have. I have heard that the biggest improvement is between the first and second game. With the number of freshmen getting playing time, there was a huge unknown for how this team would react....It is a very few (blessed) individuals who get to play in front of 102K crazy UT fans. And who knew if it would overwhelm the new players or not...Butch had them prepared, and they were not overwhelmed.

Regarding the video--that was incredible!!!

Agreed. Doubt he will be that nervous before the Ark. State game. I think Butch believes he has a bowl-bound team on his hands this year.

Robertson and Jackson on the offensive line have a nasty mean streak I like! Curt and AJ for sure bring the attitude! Their leadership is priceless!
