What’s Georgia thinking now?

So the Dawgs lost by 3 with their top two targets, Bowers and McConkey, limping on and off the field, not to mention a missed call that wasn't even reviewed that would have ended a Bama touchdown drive.

After a questionable 3-point loss, we fell from #1 to #6? How ridiculous.

Everyone knows Michigan, Texas, or Washington wouldn't have matched up with Georgia well.

I guess the committee has now sold everybody on the 12-team playoff.
The committee can't get it right, imo. Four is too few. Probably should only be eight. Twelve means we're going to see some more GA vs FSU type scores with all the opt outs and all the bitchin' about scores getting run up.

Just give it up! Quit making excuses and accept the fact you lost. Really not becoming of UGA fans. To answer your question, no NOBODY knows because they are not playing. Just opinions ...

Georgia is probably seething at Alabama right now. They likely don't blame anyone but themselves.

Georgia didn't just want another national championship. They wanted to prove they were one of college football's greatest dynasties while doing it. Part of claiming that though required beating Bama. They had the opportunity and fell short. At this point they can only look themselves in the mirror

What are they thinking? Why should I care. The year ended up better than I thought it would. Our biggest opponents lost. We blasted ours in the last game and sail into the off season on a high note. It was a great ending.

I would be surprised if we start seeing players opting out of playoff games.

Georgia just grabbed Boardwalk to go with Park Place. The rest of the board is inevitable.

Seething? Hardly. Frustrated, sure. But things aren’t slowing down in Athens yet. We missed a chance at a historic 3-peat, and that sucks. Only ourselves to blame there. But when people are treating 13-1 and a top 4 ranking + a top recruiting class as a pretty massive disappointment, you see how high the standard has been raised. Kirby won’t have to manufacture the underdog narrative even though his team is the odds on favorite to win it all in 2024. That’s… crazy.

Wow. The team with more 5 star players than anybody else in the country complaining about lack of depth. Oh boo hoo hoo. Lets all just remember that the team that squanders the most talent has always been Georgia. They are absolute champions when it comes to doing less with more than anybody else. It's been their M.O. since before I watched football. They will do it again next year for sure. Heupel could take half those players and beat anyone in the country.

They may go on another revenge tour next year even though other than Alabama, there is not much to revenge.

Yea, Heupel is indeed a great coach but I'd rather have Kirby.

Despite having to play @Texas, @bama, @OleMiss, Clemson, Tenn.... Vegas STILL has the Dawgs as the favorites to win the Natty.

Kirby's built a machine that will be a threat to win it all every year he's head coach.

True 'dat.

I lived in Atlanta and kindly remember how Georgia was such an incredible underachiever for decades considering what Johnny Majors called "the greatest recruiting advantage in the country; Atlanta (area)" So you are where you should be.

Oh my LORD! This is about the first time in 30 years that Georgia has to play a real schedule. Talk about making the bed. This is what you will say when they lose to Texas and Bama. Nobody knows the troubles I've seen.... Welcome to the real world.

Compare their 2024 regular season schedule to their 2021 & 2022 regular season schedules. Don’t tell me their world is about to change.

UGA opened with Oregon in 2022 and Clemson in 2021, both of which finished as top-15 teams. It played a home/home with Notre Dame in 2017 and 2019. UGA played 10 P5 games all of those years. 2023 was a soft schedule with the Oklahoma game cancelled, but it was an outlier.
