Can't believe most of us thought this would be an uneventful day of college football. Wow.

By the way, after bringing up Ed Orgeron in another thread... Do a Wikipedia search for his name.

Half serious, half joking. I do think he has assembled some really good talent. Also, with the exception of Arkansas, I think everyone else in the West is trending down or remaining static. I think they have a chance to make some noise in '07 and '08, especially if he adds recruiting classes comparable to this most recent group. Will they be great? No. Could they sneak into Atlanta once? I think so.

There is talent in Mississippi and he can recruit, so dont be suprised if he makes some noise. He did get Schaeffer to come to a team that waves the rebel flag and had no chance of winning for at least a couple of years

Can't really go wrong on a day where Florida loses....Woulda been a better day if Bama had gotten beat too but I don't think I'd really want to play them coming off a loss
