I agree - I'm exhausted now! I'm thrilled we pulled it out because there were a few times it looked pretty bleak. How 'bout Casey's HUGE throw to pick up the critical 4th and 19?? Gutsy play from a gutsy senior QB. Maybe this can be a stepping stone to greater things - we had to overcome a ton of adversity. Way to go Vols!!

I had to run to the store during the 3rd OT and the clerk is also a big Vol fan. He actually had the nerve to DISS Casey Clausen. He said "I can't STAND Casey Clausen!" I wonder what tune he's singing NOW???

I thought we had lost when we had the 4th and 19. Way to go Casey on a courageous comeback in the 4th!!! I hate that we had to go to 5 overtimes though with a big game next week against Duke. Haha

You know what, though, I hope we don't OVERLOOK Duke! I KNOW they aren't exactly the team to beat, BUT, looking past them is not a good idea. I personally hope we BLOW THEM AWAY. I am so hungry for a Vol BLOWOUT. These last-minute nailbiters aren't good for my heart!

Definitely one of the ages in this historic rivalry, regardless of which team won (although I'm sure as hell glad it was UT)!!!

I'm just pissed that I had to go to work after the second overtime. :(

I agree. One of the hardest fought games I've ever seen. Can we please just take a 24 hour break from whining about coaching and team chemistry and enjoy the win!? We just went on the road in the SEC and made one of the great comebacks you'll ever see.

A good game for the fans. It was enjoyable to watch just because I love college overtime so much. It's just fun. The actual game was somewhat sloppy and very slow at times. But, who cares...five overtimes more than make up for it.

As much as I dislike the UT coaches, they did their job today and got a win. Hard to believe it took that long since Bama is so crippled right now, but hey, who cares.

However, under Spurrier, we beat them 49-7. hahah j/k

Whew!!! I am just now recovering from that game. I was away most of the weekend. I got to see most of the game, but I missed bits and pieces. It was so long of a game, who can even remember what happened. I do know that was one of Casey Clausen's grittiest performances. James Banks also had a huge day. He is one of those guys that always seems to be in the right place at the right time. I will take a win any day of the week, but this one should not have been that close. I saw nothing during this game that makes me think we have "turned the corner" yet. Don't get me wrong, I saw several bright spots and some good playcalling at times. We even finallly saw the draw play that I have been screaming about all year. BUT I still think as long as we are in the game we are going to play not to lose. Don't expect many (if any) blowouts the rest of the way.
