This worked out well for Baylor football. Jim Grobe was hired as a one year interim to replace Art Briles and allowed our AD time to find a suitable full time replacement (Grobe actually smoked a very good Boise squad in our bowl game). AD Rhoades selected Matt Rhule early enough that Rhule was able to hit the recruiting trail and bring in a solid recruiting class...much better class than any of the experts predicted.
