What About the Technical on Bruce??

What are your thoughts? I was embarassed at how he acted and his language. I'm sure it didn't bother some people but I thought it was disgusting!

this unfortunately is what i think was the game changing play of the game. we were within 2 points of tying pearl get's a T and they make the free throws and never look back.

Of course, he did nothing extraordinary to earn that "T." And if language bothers you that much, grow up.

I believe they hit with the tech prior to him taking off the blazer. From Pearl's reaction, it seemed that the ref's response was that he wasn't in the coaching box, which was garbage.

He took the blazer off after the T, he got the T for yelling and stomping his foot.

One of the worst T's called all season, IMO.

The refs are doing what many in this fanbase do, pile on.

I think the foot stomp was what got him, but the ref had his back to him running away from him. He had to make a real effort to T him up.

it was ridiculous i watched the louisville game afterwards and pitino was about a million times worse and in the face of the ref and they didnt do anything if bruce would have done what pitino did he would have been tossed

deserved a T for playing Golden, Pearl, McBee, Tatum, and Williams at the same time in the first half.

Wasn't the first half when we played our best basketball? I was listening to it on the radio so I could be wrong but that's what it sounded like.

im impressed that it took bruce that long to get a tech that had to be one of the worst officiated halves of basketball i have ever seen in my life.

Sirmons was itching for that technical. I give Bruce kudos, had it been me, a second technical would have been imminent.

The score was T-50 and Fl-52 and it did change the momentum of the game.Pearl was overreacting to a good steal from lttle Pearl.I DVR'd the game and even though they had their backs to the camera it looked like a clean steal to me and you could hear the ball get slapped from little Pearls hands.I watched it several times and the foot stomp was a little over the top by Pearl considering Sirmon is notorious for calling a T foul.I also felt little Pearl cost us the Miss. St game by running his pole smoker and getting T'd.It was a 2 pt victory and those 2 points cost us big time.It is stupid to get a T foul in a close game and Pearl shoul only resort to that if were getting stomped.

I always find it funny Bruce gets technicals when there is a bad call or no call on his son. It usually is never for another player.

I liked it. If there was ever a time for Bruce to go nuts on a referee, it was last night. And also when the tech was called Florida was on a wide open fast break and probably would have dunked it (and probably got fouled) and that would have still given them momentum. Sometimes that stuff fires the team up. Unfortunately it didn't work in our favor.

I was referring to the lineup in the first half not the events of the technical.

IMO, the worst reffed game of the year. If I could get Slives email, I would like to let him know my displeasure.

I just thought it was an interesting point. You don't agree. Bruce has about four or five techs this year. I'd say almost all but one have been called after his son was involved in the play.

By the way, it was a bad tech in the Florida game, considering what the ref said he did.
