I mean in the bitter end, does rooting for Washington require a shower with brillo pads like rooting for Alabama-probably not.

They're pretty much harmless to us all things considered. We're not rivals. Due to geography, were probably not targeting many of the same recruits. Outside of the random bowl game, they are a live and let live program. Hell, I used to root for Wash and Wash St as a semi-local teams when I lived out west. Could stomach them better the USCs and Oregon's of the world. We do owe them a big favor now though so a home and home would sit about right with me. Give both programs a little press far away from home kind of thing.
