The Vols' game today with Mercer, who beat them in the NIT last year, is dripping with irony. And what a chance to get revenge. Last year the Vols' team did not have Maymon, and the team was reportedly lethargic, not motivated to play in and try to win the NIT. The lethargy of the unmotivated team was a club for a lot of people beat Martin with, as a poster pointed out today on VN. Now there is another tournament game with none other than Mercer. In another tournament setting. Some people might say this is merely coincidental and not ironic. If the Vols show up, and they must certainly will, Cuonzo and the team will have redeemed themselves by beating the last team to beat them in a tournament.

What's ironic is Michigan is next. I saw the last game vs Michigan and CM would be wise to show that game to this team.

If we don't bring the intensity early Michigan can drill us. The good news is we showed what we can do when everyone is focused, and I believe the boys will be ready and play hard. Lets hope we rebound and get some breaks. This team has proven when it shoots well it can beat anyone. On to Indy......

Eh, I disagree. Different coach, different circumstances, mostly different players, and different style of play completely. Just prepare for the now.

Nehi where were you during the season? Honest question, cause you seem like you're into bball but I don't recall seeing you around?
