CNNSI says that we are #27 in the AP and #26 in the Coaches poll.

That would be very weak. You ought to be ranked with wins over two top ten teams, a great RPI rating, and a good record otherwise.

Some other sites haven't updated their polls. On CNNSI, it said "updated January 23"...

If that's the case then I'm disappointed but we'll get there if we keep winning.

The UF win was grerat but you have to consider that UT went 1 for 3 in last three games. That usually does not move you up in the rankings.

Who cares? We are winning and turning the program around regardless of the ranking. B-ball rankings are fairly meaningless. All we need is to make the tournament and we are certainly headed that way.

Watch out wanting to be ranked. Next think you know you're 3rd and then you can't win even half your games.

On the other hand, we have beat TWO top 5 teams right now, I think we're more deserving than a couple of teams in the top 25.

Doesn't matter right now, to me, anyway.

Now if UT wins the next 2, and is still not ranked, it's a different story.

that is so much BS. not only for UT but for UConn. They deserve to be No.1. When the No.1 and 2 teams in the nation loose to unranked opponents, they must move down. what a smack in the face

The records have been updated, but the poll ranking itself is from last week. Duke was #1, Florida #2, UConn #3 and Memphis #4 last week. I expect UConn to be ranked #1 this week. Duke will probably drop to #2. Memphis moves up to #3.
