Just a question for all those who say that they are going to wait and see what CBJ does before they believe or give him any support.

What are you going to do next season?

A quote from another post

"I am not gonna invest time, money, and energy into this hire until I can digest a whole season"

I have read plenty of post just like the one above, to all of you that think this way I ask.

What are you guys/gals going to do next season? Not wear your orange? Don't buy tickets or merchandise?

Yeah maybe they plan on changing teams until they feel like being a Vol fan again when times become better. I plan on being excited just like I was when Dooley hired on. Yes I got excited about what COULD become. I'm going to get excited again and get goosebumps when Kesling says "its football time in tennessee!"

Try not to drink as heavily and be plastered in the 3rd Quarter....ala Bill Anderson in the booth during most SEC games.

I'm going to faithfully suffer through another 5-7 season.

I still see 6-6. 3 OOC wins and they can beat UK and Auburn and SURELY CBJ can pull an "upset" against might Vandy or Mizzu. I think he is a guy that can get the players believing. That was a problem of Dools.

Moving to Florida so will come up for one game and will go to Oregon. Still wear my O&W and go to the alumni events in Florida. Been a fan since 1960. And an alumni. However I am disappointed in our coaching decisions just like I was with Dooley hire.
I have a hard time accepting that ND can turn it completely around in a short time and we can't even get out of the SEC basement. Just look at how well A&M advanced in one year.
I hate failure and excuses.

There is legitimate cause to be jaded after the past 5 years. Wanting to temper ones excitement until they see what CBJ puts on the field is understandable. It's still early in the process though. Most will come around by kickoff next fall.

If I can make it through the past two train wreck seasons then I can make through whatever CBJ does next year. It's bound to be an improvement.

This isn't pro ball..where switching loyalties happens as often as changing your underwear...you take the good with the bad. I'll support the coach until he sucks..just like I did with Dooley even though that was pretty hard to do considering he had ZERO success as a HC. At least with Jones the guy has a track record of winning..

I haven't bought a ticket, hat. Shirt, etc. Since around 2004. So I'll probably just continue doing the same. Nothing to do with Butch.
Maybe I'll clinch my fists, squint, and hold my tongue just right.

I'm going to start each game believing we can win, cheer as if we are going to win and pray the team improves after any losses.

I guess same as last year. Donate more money than I care to say and sit in same seats. cheer when things look good, and complain when it's not... love the vols when they are up or when they are down .

If championships are the metric, UT has been on a downward spiral for way too long. Hamilton was the scapegoat, but with the final vestiges of MH cleared away it seems clear that the powers that be still do not have the vision required to compete for SEC championships.

I have hung in for a very long time but have recently made the difficult decision to no longer make a financial commitment as long as the product on the field does not justify it.

I'll go to the usual two or three games I always go to. Visit some old college buddies. Get misty eyed when they run through the T. Scream, sing Rocky Top, yell at the refs and then drink too much afterwards at the tailgate. Yep , that's what I'm doing next year because regardless of who the players are or the coach is, they are still wearing orange and that's good enough for me.
