My favorite has to be Electric Wizard's Black Masses. I had an interesting experience trippin' on the roof of an elementary school and watching the eclipse while this album was on. It was all good times til the cops showed up and we had to jump off the other side and dip to avoid interaction. Much to our amusement while we were up there, one of my buddies was layin' down and using a beer bottle as a pillow. Fun times. I also liked the new Cough album, Ritual Abuse, but I don't have a story to go with that one.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone said the Kanye album but damn that was quick.

I have liked kanye since I heard the H.O.V.A beat...he is what he is as a writer, I take it as a bonus to the music.

The overall production on MDTBN is sensational.

The album rises and falls with perfect timing, the harmonies are on point and the melodies are amazing.

Not to mention the Chris Rock cameo, which is one of the funnier things that I have ever heard.

Yeezy taught you well, Yeezy taught you well.

An album or record album is a collection of related audio or music tracks distributed to the public.

A big thumbs up to The Black Keys in their album Brother. Yeasayer released a strong album at the beginning of the year called Odd Blood, though I felt they were reaching a bit too far and leaning too close to pop. Vampire Weekend had a good release in Contra, though only a few notable songs. I found Titus Andronicus' sophomoric album The Monitor to be a great surprise. It is a very neat concept album with big names and some definite fury. Of course, another beautiful album from the Canadians, Arcade Fire, in their greatly successful album The Suburbs. And then there are the newcomers; Phantogram (Eyelid Movies) and Broken Bells (self-titled) are two up-and-coming bands that I will be keeping an eye on.

I'll help out...Backspacer.

Does anyone know if Matt Cameron has left Pearl Jam to do his thing with Soundgarden? Hopefully it is just temporary unle it is the only way that Soundgarden will continue.

I'll admit it's not his best, but I'm surprised Recovery by Eminem hasn't been mentioned.

Jamey Johnson - The Guitar Song

I'm not a big country fan, so this either says a lot for JJ or very little for the quality of music released in 2010.

I broke down and got the Kanye album, and it's fantastic.

Also, props to the above mention of 10 Years. I don't think Feeding the Wolves is as good as their debut, but it's a solid offering from the local boys.
