What Are Your Favorite Tailgate Party Foods?

What foods to y'all like at Tailgate parties? My favorite Tailgate Party foods are BBQ,Pizza,Chili and Fried Chicken followed by a Coke or Sweet Tea because i haven't touched a drop of alcohol since 2003.

Seriously though we alway have BBQ pork sandwiches and ribs. But for a game like Florida it will be gator apps and a low country boil as the main.

One can prepare these to order, grilling the meat on a small portable grill (I'll prep the meat on skewers for east of grilling).

But it's so good on a cold day, especially with fritos and cheese in it. My Mom makes a green chile stew from slow cooked beans that will blast your nips off.

I was fond of the green chili stew served in Las Cruces, NM (I worked at a radio station there in 1980).

Game day top choice for me is cold bone in hot sauce chicken wings and a good yellow mustard potato salad and a few deviled eggs.

Another staple for cooler game days is taco soup. Usually we do it and chili both since the toppings and sides are good with both. And you can make one milder than the other.

I'm going to add something new to my gameday recipes this year and that's pimento cheese/ country ham fritters.

Pimento cheese with jalapeno mixed in is great. Like the country ham fritters idea.
