Bowls I'm most looking forward to:
#1
Peach Bowl (yes, it's still the Peach Bowl) - UT vs. VT - Tennessee going bowling again. First bowl in the Kiffin era (read, the team might actually show up trying to win the game). Last game for Crompton, Hardesty, Big Dan, and 99% Eric Berry. Hokie-Smokey Classic. New Year's Eve in Atlanta. Very pumped for this.
#2
Rose Bowl - Oregon vs. Ohio St. - I wouldn't be surprised to see both of these teams in the top 5 in next year's preseason polls. As fun as it is to see USC beat the hell out of the Big 10 every year, it'll be nice to see two teams that haven't been to the Rose Bowl in a while and hopefully a competitive game (though I wouldn't be shocked if Oregon won comfortably)
#3
Holiday Bowl - Arizona vs. Nebraska - The Holiday Bowl is almost always a really good game. Both of these programs seem to be turning a corner. Winner could be setting itself up for a really good season next year. And Suh will be playing.
#4
Fiesta Bowl - TCU vs. Boise St. - I'm very bummed that these two were paired together, but it still should be a good game. If Cincinnati loses to Florida (which I think they will, especially if Kelly heads to South Bend) and if TCU beats Boise (which I think they will), then the Horned Frogs should finish #2.
#5
Gator Bowl - WVU vs. FSU - Bowden's last game, appropriately against West Virginia. If I could pick one coach out there to give Bobby a classy, genuine handshake/hug at midfield after his last game, it'd be Bill Stewart. Two programs that are down now from where they've been but have the ability to recruit well and be back at the top of their conferences in just a year or two.
#6
BCS Nat'l Championship - Bama vs. Texas - Uh, its the championship game, so I guess I've got to be interested. Maybe by Jan 7 I actually will be more interested.
