What current committed players will upgrade in rankings?

I definitely think Taylor. Look at his tangibles and his offer list. You have to think he will become a high 4* or 5* down the road.

Has there ever been a 5* kicker or punter? And if so why not? They are so valuable to a team. I would think the top kicker and punter in the nation should receive a 5* and if nothing else a 4*. Palardy is the real deal and deserves more than a 3*.

Going to throw out guys that haven't been said as possibilities... Palardy because he is considered one of the best kickers in a while. If he has an awesome season I don't know why he couldn't get bumped to 4. Also, I am hoping JS gets bumped to 5. I doubt he does but he has had the schools back, his numbers are beastly and he looks like a beast. I am hoping for him. Not predicting he will but am hoping he will.

its the Rivals ranking system. its as close as you can come to a 5 star.

Fulton and Taylor will definately jump up a star. I think milton will rise, but not to a 5th star. Dont count Ralph Williams out either. He is another Miami guy who with a good year could easily rise high.

Don't forget our JUCOs. I'd expect at least half of them will be 4*s, Jon Brown might even be a 5*.

Milton jumped a star in the past month or so if I remember correctly. He was actually a 3* right before Tennessee got him or it changed shortly after he committed. Would be awesome if he continues to move up the rankings.... not that it matter. James Hardy was a 2*. James Hardy was freaking awesome. I would settle for half of James Hardy's production out of Milton in the SEC. I believe he can put up similar numbers though. Millllllllllton. :clapping:

that lineback out of wake forest that was taken early in the draft was also a 2*. colt mccoy was a 3*. as much as id love to see us ranked at the very top of recruiting, ill settle for production in the long run.

I heard that. I'd prefer to take a team full of sleepers who want to play for Rocky Top over a top 3 recruiting class. Unfortunately it is a star system based on HS sports and not a sure bet they will be worth anything more than a bench warmer in college. I think we are currently at #10 for this year. Gosh so long until February! Good thing the season is about to start. Ribs and Samuel Adams..oh yea!

Fulton will be a 4star for sure...
Taylor probably will end up as a 4star...
Broussard has a very good chance to be a 4star...
Brown and Harris will both be 4stars for sure when Rivals rates the JUCO's...
Irvin can easily be a 4star if he has a big year on the field especially when you consider his measurables...
Jacques, Ambles, and Jones all have the potential to have a big year which could propel them to a top 20-30 ranking and a 5th star...

If this guy can lose some weight and has a big year Jose Jose could end up being a 4 or 5 star. Also Channing Fugate could be pretty high by the time NSD rolls around. But I agree I want to see production in the long run.

I think that :

Michael Taylor will pick up his 4th star

Channing Fugate will pick up his 4th star.

JC Copeland will pick up his 4th star.

Risean Broussard Pick up his 4th star.

Jose Jose will pick up his 4th star.

Bruce Irvin will also end up a 4 star.

I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but there won't be as much star movement as you guys are saying IMO. The only guy who we have that even has a slight chance of getting a 5th star is Ambles, but I doubt it. Maybe one of the JUCO tackles, but their 5 stars don't usually mean as much for some reason.
The main two I see moving up for sure are Fulton and Taylor.

A couple of other things....
- J.C. Copeland is already a 4 star on Rivals.
- No shot in hell Jose Jose gets a 5th star. He'd be lucky to get a 4th.
