I'd never seen a single episode until I started downloading season one of "The Wire" on DirecTV 101. Man...., killer show! Seasons 1-3 are available for download through 7/16. Season 4 just started airing.

Yes I watch a lot of TV. That's what you do when you live in a cold place, are married, and don't have money to burn on better entertainment. And a few of those are shows I watch because of my wife, so take it easy.

I find it hilarious all the different hoops you have to deal with in other countries.

For example, I think it was Panama, if you want to buy a house there you have to deposit something like $250K into a Panama Bank (not fdic insured)

Or in Argentina, mortgages dont exist and you have to show up a closing literally with a briefcase full of cash. No checks or money wires allowed

I also think its hilarious people think you are getting some deal if you buy a beach house in a foreign country, when you can buy a nice house 100 yards off the beach in FL for the same price or cheaper

You don't need DirecTV when you have them all on DVD:neener2:

To tell you the truth, I'm jealous of you. I wish I could watch it all over again for the first time. The Wire is the best show ever.

I've enjoyed watching Blue Bloods. Comes on CBS on Friday nights. Yes, I'm 34, married, 4 kids. Other than sports, that's all that I make sure that I watch weekly.
