What did Calipari just call that ESPN announcer?

Cal has a more impressive resume right now.

Not to mention Cal has the BEST job in college basketball. He's at the mountain top. Kiffin was not. Tennessee's football tradition is really something, but it's not at the level of Kentucky's tradition in basketball.

John Calipari has never had the type of resources at the college level that he has now. It should be fun to watch him through the years. He's already got the Cats back to #1 in his first 19 games. He's been impressive thus far as have the players he's brought in.

John Calipari = Lane Kiffen they're really the same type of person.

Only in the sense they left one program for a better one. That's probably where it ends. Cal's departure from Memphis does not compare with Kiffin's classless departure from Tennessee.

I don't blame Kiffin for leaving Rocky Top for SoCal, just the way he did it.

From what I understand Buccigross and Calipari are friends outside the show, sharing PA roots.

Coach Cal via twitter:

John Buccigross & I go back 10 yrs. We're both from Pitt. It's a term of endearment & we went back n forth using that term b4 we went on-air.

Funny stuff, IMO.

That's more like it.

Thanks for letting me know. And don't be so hard on yourself.
Mine was a joke about Calipari's recruiting. Yours is a personal insult. I could let you know my opinion of you but board rules prohibit me from doing so.

If they were laughing about it before they went on air, and he states they go back 10 years, and obviously buccigross has no problem with it.... then I don't know what else to tell you.

Knock yourself out and read into all you want.

I've known one of them for almost twenty years. Know the other one casually. They're not the least bit alike.

One is an arrogant douche. The other, pretty laid back and cool. Most people would be surprised which one is Kiffin.

I'm sure you believe everything that comes out of Calipari's mouth, don't you...

So what is your estimate on time that you think Cal will live in Lexington?

Nope. Only about half of what he says. I was just pointing out that of all the things you could have said, you picked the same one liner that people have run in the ground. Be original with your Kentucky insults. They are more fun that way. :eek:k:
