The next video that came up was the Fireball Wakeup - I hope I never have "friends" like that!

I don't care who you are... That's funny. Little disturbing but funny.

I like the guy who was coming up next. "Uh....it's hard to follow that one." I.e., That idiot has just ensured that nobody's going to be paying any attention at all to what I have to say.

This isn't on the news like Imus because this guy is just a screaming idiot on the street corner, only with a camera turned on him. Imus, inexplicably, is a major media personality.

That's not the point. I understand he's not "major media personality" it's tha fact that it's a double standard in this country. Blacks can do and say what they want and nothing is said or done. God forbid that was a white guy saying something like that, it would have been al over the evening news, and people like Al Sharpton would have crucified him tell everyone how every white person in American is a racist. It’s a double standard in this country. Enough is enough.

Clearly there is a double standard and it is to some degree justified. Why debate it? It is what it is and isn't going to change. News outlets pick and choose stories constantly and do have some left leaning tendencies, but they generally try to find something that will generate an audience, which in turn, helps the station carrying the news pay its bills.

I do not see where that has anything to do with a double standard being justifiable? Minorities should go out of their way to make legitimate complaints not complaints about meaningless jibberish.

He's a screaming idiot that has spent the last 20+ years spouting this kind of crap in the classroom. He has much more influence than Imus ever did.

I don't remember Al Sharpton ever saying every white person in America is a racist.

Face it, when a person as widely known and listened to as Don Imus says something that stupid, there is going to be a fall out

He doesn't have a nationally syndicated radio program, that's also broadcast on MSNBC..

So of course, his statements aren't going to stir up as much controversy.

Duh, that's cause it wasn't a white guy on CSPAN saying it.
