What do Johnny Football and Kathy Webb have in common?

Correct, and i think Musburger wet his pants a few times.

He was however credited for 10 tackles. I guess they were counting "jumping on the pile after the play was blown dead" too last night.

They showed T'eo on the sideline more than on the field.

If it appears that I'm piling on, its because I am.

"He's got a sad story."
"He's a real inspiration for overcoming all obstacles"
"He's a great person."
"He's from Hawaii and wears funky crap around his neck at award shows."
"His momma and daddy love him."
"He's got tribal ink that goes all the way around."
"Mike Golic and him are bffe."

Blah blah friggin blah blah, the dude was a media created rock star and had no business winning anything other than a yellow participation ribbon. He's got NFL Practice Squad written all over him.

Agreed, sans the 7 interceptions there are plenty of SEC linebackers with numbers just as good if not better than his. He was the beneficiary of being a player for media darling ND.

Clearly his fault in regards to the media.

He has been nothing but humble in the all of the interviews I have heard about him. What is it about him that makes you all butthurt?

Te'o seems like a good kid. He's overhyped as a player, but at least he's not an overhyped douchebag.

LOL. Sans the interceptions and returns Eric Berry was no better than Justin Randolph then correct?

as for being butthurt, you're mistaken. I think he became a spectacle and some of that was self imposed.

He had seven interceptions, its not like there are not other linebackers that had 5 or 6 or anything. . . with more tackles as well :whistling:

How? Was it the coverage when his GF died of Leukemia and he lost his grandmother all in a 6 hour period in the middle of the season?

How many times have you seen a sad story similar to that prior to every single big game during the College Football Season? Hell, its damn near a 30 for 30 prior to kick off every week.

Example:

Some cornerback for some school who grew up in some craptastic community, raised by grandma because dad's in jail and mom is strung out on dope, who lost his cousin who was his only inspiration to do right, who got shot in a gang shooting and died. Then this inner city kid was picked up by some HS Coach who took him under his wing to channel all that hate in to something positive, thus getting him signed with a mid major university. Now he's on scholarship and hopes to become a motivational speaker after his NFL days are done.

How many times have you seen that story?

How many times have you watched that movie?

Tragic **** happens. It sucks. I'm not making light of any of that, but for Pete's sake, he's not the only one who has seen tragedy.

Thanks for that drivel. You've still failed to explain your butthurtedness and how Te'o actively seeks out media coverage.
