He deserves to be thanked. He was not our best QB to suit up in orange and white, but he did. He went out there every week and took the hits. When he was benched, he did not complain. Apparently, that motivated him to become a better QB. I hate that he has gotten hurt, and I would like to wish him well with a speedy recovery.

I say this because of how many people have been bashing him.

Sounds like a eulogy.

All season I have said there has to be someone better than him on our bench and I hope there is, but I am glad that no matter how much people like me complained or when he got benched he always gave his all for Tennessee. For that I thank him and also for his win over his home state. Good luck Worley and see ya next season, you'll be a great leader on the sidelines.

You sir are a first class jerk! People like you are an embarrassment to the Vol fan base. Worley is not the best quarterback in Tennessee history but he does not complain, gives his best, and played during some difficult times in Tennessee history! Anybody with football class would have nothing but respect for Worley! He will continue to represent Tennessee with class which is a lot more than I can say for you!

He's not a jerk. Just an internet bad ass. Dime a dozen on the world wide web.

I'm down with not bashing him (or any vol player that gives his all for Tennessee), but he'll be back. Hell he still has another year, no need for something like this (which makes it sound like hes leaving/done). He still has time to compete for the starting spot at qb (though most probably don't think he'll ever get it)

He doesn't have any sort of NFL career in front of him, but I'd like to see him as a Grad Assistant under Jones.

Hell, Worley might be the next HC after Butch's long and prosperous rule.

a little more confidence and I'm not sure he will be warming the bench

Respect. No animosity what so ever. Definitely not the best qb I've ever seen. But he always did the best he could, with a great attitude.

Worley did what a lot of UT Qbs failed to do these last few years, that was beat a ranked team. Granted it was at home and he may of not been the reason we won but the losses fall on the qb's shoulder so he has to get credit for the wins as well. I'm glad he choose to be a Vol and if he is out for the season then he should get a fair shot to come back and win the job next year as a Sr. Whether he wins the job next year is up to him but I think he earned his chance.

He deserves a Randy Travis poster.

I like Worley. I like his attitude, I like his demeanor, and I like his maturity. He holds himself well.

With that said, I don't think he's done any more to lose the UT starting job as Dobbs has to win it. I think he deserves the job once he's healthy.

I have nothing but respect for Justin Worley. He gave his all for Tennessee every time he stepped on the field and I want to thank him for that.
